Delivery of the first set of metal 3D printing equipment by Avimetal to users

Release Time:2022/09/26Number of Views:527

On September 22nd, the first set of metal 3D printing equipment MT280 from Avimetal set sail and was shipped to a university user. General Manager Gao Zhengjiang, Deputy General Manager Ma Teng, and the equipment development team attended the delivery ceremony to witness this important moment together.

Avimetal has maintained a good cooperative relationship with university users in the field of 3D printing alloy powders, and has co authored and published high-level scientific papers in mainstream journals both domestically and internationally. This time, both parties will cooperate in the field of 3D printing equipment, using domestically produced 3D printing equipment as a platform to carry out research and development of cutting-edge alloy powder materials, and assist in the localization of metal 3D printing materials and equipment in China.

The MT280 laser selective melting equipment takes into account small batch production and scientific research needs in multiple application fields. The core parameters of the equipment are fully open source, supporting printing of titanium and titanium alloys, high-temperature alloys, aluminum alloys, and various refractory metal materials, with high reliability, stability, and forming quality; At the same time, we provide high value-added services such as matching with Avimetal’s independent additive manufacturing materials and processes, effectively solving the matching barriers of metal materials and processes in the customer’s use process; As the first model developed by Avimetal in the field of equipment, the MT280 is a comprehensive product of similar models in the industry, and is the preferred friendly model for scientific research verification and achievement transformation.

One month before delivery, the equipment development team conducted strict printing and baking machine testing on the MT280, and successively carried out compatibility verification on typical materials such as titanium alloy, high-temperature alloy, aluminum alloy, and refractory metal. The printing forming density was above 99.9%, and the full format consistency, printing accuracy, mechanical properties, and stability between different batches were all performed well, ensuring that the user’s needs for cutting-edge scientific research work were met.

At present, multiple metal 3D printing equipment from Avimetal have been put into production and delivered to users, helping more research institutes carry out high-level scientific research and industry users achieve the industrial application of 3D printing. In the future, we will fully focus on the core demands of users, strive for excellence, and combine materials and process databases to continuously improve equipment stability and reliability, fully empowering various industries to achieve high-quality transformation and development.
